Made our first visit to Kidzania Singapore on 24 September 2016. Had always wanted to go on a weekday, thinking that it would have lesser people. Until recently when I got feedbacks from my friends who visited Kidzania SG on Sat and Sun, I decided to go on a Saturday.

Braised Pork Rice (Lu Rou Fan)
Monday, September 12, 2016
Yesterday was Hari Raya Haji and I stayed home with my 2 little munchkins.
It was a public holiday and it also marked the end of my September holiday... *Cry*
Karen and Siew Boon decided to come over to my house for lunch and hence, I gotta think of dishes that they might like. As usual, laziness kicked in and I told myself, "The recipes must be easy and as little things for me to prepare as possible!!!"
I chanced upon ECKitchenSG and I finally found a dish that I loved (did not really care about whether Karen and Siew Boon like it or not...) and most importantly, SIMPLE TO PREPARE AND DO! That is.... BRAISED PORK RICE!

Fuse Beads (HAMA Beads and PYSSLA beads)
Saturday, March 26, 2016
A year ago, I had purchased a big tub of PYSSLA beads from Ikea Singapore.
It cost SGD9.90 and there are many, many, many beads! I went to google and it mentioned that there is about 15000 beads in a tub! For SGD9.90, it is a very good deal!
I had also purchased the beads shapes from IKEA at SGD2.90! I was chirping like a bird! (Cheap! Cheap! Cheap!)
Review: Leapfrog Reader
Thursday, December 10, 2015
I had purchased a Leapfrog Reader for Big J during a Robinsons Sales in June 2015. It came in a bundle which includes the Leapfrog pen and 2 of the compatible books: Cars and Brave. It comes together with a Sample booklet for Big J to try on the writing and also, pages from various books for the Leapfrog pen.
Initially with just that 2 came-along books, Big J was not interested in them. I then purchased the other books, mainly for kindergarten level, hoping he might gain interest in them. True enough, he started reading them.

Montessori 3-Part Cards: Shapes!
Tuesday, June 9, 2015
It has been awhile since I last posted here.
I am quite busy with my children and also, setting up my mini online shop. :D
As promised, I am going to share another Montessori 3-part cards: Shapes!
Similar to the instructions of Colours, thus I am not going to repeat myself here again.
Enjoy printing and cutting them!
Lastly, enjoy your bonding time with your child when doing this activity!
With love,
Fynn

Teaching a Preschooler (To Know - Basic)
Monday, May 18, 2015
It is not easy to teach a preschooler.
Looking at other kids of the same age as Jay, being smart and able to do a lot of things that he couldn't do makes me worried. I tried to teach him based on what I saw on the news feed (Facebook) about those kids of about his age.
I got frustrated when Jay did not understand what I was teaching, even after repeating it umpteen times.
I started screaming and shouting and then, he was about to weep.
I started mumbling to myself, “Why other people can do it and you can’t?”
(One of the things I he could not do was drawing diagonal lines…)
